(Beijing, December 13) The "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Volkswagen Pro Tour Grand Finals opened today at Peking University Gymnasium, venue for the table tennis competition of the Beijing Olympic Games. The high-level event will help test the overall operation capacity of the venue team. Through nearly 22 months of construction, the venue was completed on November 26, 2007. The venue is ready for use after installation of supporting facilities and equipment. All equipment including the electronic timing system will comply with the Olympic requirements. A press conferece was held today to brief the media about the venue construction and operation.
